Swapping displays in BookLink is simple, and should be done whenever a display is replaced.
The process essentially creates a new display, and moves all inventory to the new display.
This process can also be done on the handheld where it does not require the store to be unloaded and unlocked.
To do this on the Handheld see:

Some important things to remember:
- Swap displays only if the store is not loaded to a handheld.
To swap a display
- Find the store in BookLink (Stores / File Maintenance Stores)
Choose the Displays TAB - Select the display in the bottom grid you want to change/swap and poke the 'Edit Display' button.
- Choose 'Yes' if you are completely and physically changing the display to a new/different display type.
(not just correcting and editing a mistyped description or display type - choose 'No' for this) - Choose the new Display Type, Display Theme, Header Style if applicable, enter in the Description, Pockets if applicable and the Transfer Date. The Transfer Date will be used as the 'Install Date' for the new display and the 'Remove Date' for the old display.
- Poke 'Save' and you should return to the original store display screen with the old display flagged as inactive and the new display (including inventory that was on the old display) line added.
- Right-Click the new display and choose Details to confirm the inventory is there as expected.
