Scenario One
If you choose the "Generate Report" option for the report instead of Generate Excel you get the option of "Email Excel To Myself" to have the server email you an Excel version to save and work with locally:
Scenario Two
If you have a report that only has the Generate Excel option:
When you get the below box click "No" then
go to your Desktop or Documents folder then
right-click and choose Paste.
This will save the document in the folder you paste to:
