Importing a CSV file into BookLink Key Change screen can be helpful if there is a large list of stores to change.
Attached is an Excel template that can be used to format the records that need to be imported.
The 4 rows in the template should represent the 4 types of key changes and the columns should be self explanatory based on the same info that is used for each,
After saving the Excel Sheet - Use File > Save As to save the Excel sheet as a CSV file.
It should save it the same folder that original Excel sheet was saved to.
If needed, move this CSV file to a location where the Key Change "Import Key Changes" button can find it.
When you click this button, it will open a screen to find and choose the csv file. Navigate to the folder you saved to if needed.
Click YES to the message if you kept the template headers in place.
During the import process, there will be self-explanatory messages that appear.
You may need to fix some issues, or you may get a successful import on the first try!
After the import, the records will be added to the Key Change screen ready to "Process Uncompleted Changes"
