Overview

Your Choice Books account provides access to the following work resources

• Computers
• Email
• Teams (Instant messaging)
• BookLink (line-of-business software)
• Support Articles (this site. In the top right, click Login, then "Are you a customer? Login Here" to sign in and access more articles)

The IT Department provides your initial account information, after which you are responsible to record and maintain your account information.

Do

• Use your own CB account
• Use your CB email or Teams for all work related communication
• Use Bitwarden to track your passwords
  • Or another reputable password manager, but seriously, use a password manager. Not using one is dangerous and a waste of time.

Don't

• Share your account password with anyone, including IT
  • We don't need your password to assist you
• Write your password on a sticky note.
  • We will shred all such notes we find.
• Enter your account information anywhere except the following places
  • login.microsoftonline.com
  • rdg.choicebooks.com
  • Microsoft Office apps downloaded from the official Apple or Android app stores
  • Choice Books computers
  • BookLink
• Use personal email for work
• Create email or storage accounts for work. Do use the ones we provide.

Other Accounts

Other accounts which you may have

• Paylocity - Payroll, hours entry, etc.
  • Everyone has a Paylocity account.
  • HR manages this. Do not contact IT with questions regarding Paylocity.
• ERP System Windows Account
  • Accounting and some sales personnel have this account
  • Provides access to the servers of the ERP system
    • BookLink Central
    • Microsoft Dynamics GP
• Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Accounting personnel have this account
  • Provides access to the Dynamics GP application.
