How to Change Your Password

Our current password policy requires a new password every 3 months and requires passwords to meet specific complexity requirements.

Complexity Requirements:

•    Must be at least 8 characters long
•    Must mix at least three types of characters (UPPERCASE, lowercase, Numbers, or Symbols (!@#$%^&*_-+=,.)
•    Can't be identical to your previous passwords

There are a few places you can change your password:

1. Web Browser
   1. Go to https://rdg.choicebooks.com/rdweb
   2. Click Change Password
   3. Enter your username. The username must be in the format CBNOVA\<username>
   4. Enter your old password in the Old Password box
   5. Enter your new password in both the New Password and the Confirm Password boxes
   6. Press Enter or click on Submit.
      
      
2. Any Choice Books computer
   1. Log in using your username and current password
   2. Press Control+Alt+Delete
   3. Click Change a Password
   4. Enter your old password in the Old Password box
   5. Enter your new password in both the New Password and the Confirm Password boxes
   6. Press Enter or click on the Arrow beside the Confirm Password box.
      
      
3. Remote Desktop (BookLink server)
   1. Open BookLink 
   2. Press Control+Alt+End
   3. Click Change a Password
   4. Enter your old password in the Old Password box
   5. Enter your new password in both the New Password and the Confirm Password boxes
   6. Press Enter or click on the Arrow beside the Confirm Password box.
