When you try to open the "new Outlook" you will receive this message - "This account has been blocked from accessing the new Outlook for Windows by your system administrator."
Please note that we have blocked the new Outlook which Microsoft has included with Windows 11. Unfortunately, the new Outlook is missing many useful features that can be found in the classic Outlook.
The solution is to open the older version Outlook or Outlook (classic) as it is sometimes called.
You can find this in the start menu. As illustrated in the picture below, you can tell which is classic even if they are not labelled classic or new, because the icons are slightly different.
We recommend creating a shortcut or pinning the classic version shortcut to your Taskbar for easy access.
