Configuring DEX

1. To configure DEX to for the Android handheld open the VersatileDEX app.
   
   
   
2. You will see a screen that says the license is not active. Press OK to register now. On the second screen select Scan With Camera at the bottom of the window.
   
   
   
3. Scan this QR code. Then enter any three numbers into the User ID and press Submit Code.
   
   
   
4.  Press Activate Now to activate a DEX license on your handheld. (Stage Only will save the information to the app without consuming a license immediately. It is important to note that if you do not use DEX for two weeks, the license will deactivate and you will see a window similar to this the next time you DEX. Simply pressing the Refresh License button will reactive your license.)
   
5. When you are finished you should see a screen like the one below. The Restricted Mode message is normal. Check that the window says Embedded Mode in the center of the grey area. If so, you did everything correctly.
