Epson LX-350 Configuration

The Epson dot-matrix printers need some settings changed before they will work properly in our use case.

Specifically, four settings need to be changed:

1. Auto tear off: On
2. Baud Rate: 9600
3. Low noise mode: Off
   • This one is optional. Your preference.
4. Power off timer: Off

The basic outline of operations is as follows:

1. Enter menu mode
2. Change settings
3. Exit menu mode

Pretend all the confusing markings don't exist and go by the image above.

Instructions:

1. Enter Menu Mode:
   1. Hold the middle two buttons until the printer beeps
   2. Press Set to choose English
2. Change settings
   • Use the Item⭡ and Item⭣ buttons to move between settings
   • Use the Set button to change the current setting
     
     
   • Change these settings:
     1. Auto tear off: On
     2. Baud Rate: 9600
     3. Low noise mode: Off
        1. This one is optional. Your preference.
     4. Power off timer: Off
3. Exit Menu Mode
   1. Hold the middle two buttons until the printer beeps
4. Congratulations, you've changed your printer's settings!
