Errors After Clean Boot Reset

Problem


Support staff or your District Manager had you do a Clean Boot Reset on your handheld and the handheld comes back to the white Choice Books screen but the BookLink Mobile icon is missing.


OR


You just completed a Clean Boot Reset, but you get an error when launching BookLink Mobile.


OR


You're constantly being prompted to warm boot your handheld.



Solution

(note the manual option below if scanning the codes does not bring BookLink Mobile back)

Step One

Scan each of the barcodes below, waiting until the circles stop spinning before scanning the next barcode.





Step Two


The blue light at the top of the handheld will blink for several seconds after you scan the code. 

Wait 10 seconds after the blue light stops blinking, then open BookLink Mobile



Manual Option

If the barcode option does not restore BookLink mobile, follow the steps in this video to manually restore BookLink

Notes


Reboot by poking the little orange button on the bottom left of the handheld then poking the "Reboot" button that shows up on screen.

If you don't see the Honeywell logo you didn't reboot, the handheld only went to sleep.
